June Updates

Like so many small businesses, our operations have been dramatically affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Over the past few months, we’ve carefully considered the best route for us moving forward and are finally in a place where we can put these changes in action and share them with you.

Print Lab

From one family business to another, we are incredibly excited to announce that our Print Lab has been purchased by Frameworks Ltd., who have also hired Tyler to manage it as he did for us. It is a huge relief to have found a buyer who was also able to assist a Bermudian get back to work, and we have no doubt that Tyler and the Print Lab will be an excellent addition to the team and services at Frameworks.

For the best value in Bermuda, do not hesitate to reach out to hello@frameworks.bm for all your printing needs! (PS, don’t forget, Frameworks is now located at 2 Mill Creek Lane!)

Studio

As many of you know, our beautiful studio at 16 Water Street has been closed since the lockdown, and we have made the difficult decision to close it permanently. Unfortunately, it simply does not make financial sense for us to continue with the overheads of a physical location at this time. We are selling furniture and non-essential stock/equipment, and I will be at the studio on select days/times through 30 June for anyone interested in popping by to have a look (a list of items available and my times on location will be shared on Instagram and Facebook stories).

***Please be advised that ALL outstanding print orders MUST be collected by June 30, 2020. Any outstanding orders that have not been collected, or arranged for paid delivery, will be disposed.***

We’d be lying if we said these changes didn’t come without sadness. It’s been awful to see such an abrupt upheaval on years of blood, sweat and tears. However, we realize how fortunate we are that Mark has found a great position at an exemplary company. We are incredibly thankful to our friends at Frameworks Ltd, and look forward to our continued industry partnership with them. We are eternally grateful for the continued support of our wonderful clients – those of you who are able to book sessions and those of you who have shared kind words and referrals to us. Truly, we would have never amassed the success in our five years as Two & Quarter Photography Ltd had it not been for you. If anything, the Covid-19 pandemic has shown us what is most important, and we remain dedicated to focusing on that. Portraits and weddings are happening – and I am enthusiastically here to continue capturing them!!

Thank you for your patience, support and encouragement as we navigated the past few months. The future of Two & Quarter may be different, but we’re finding brightness in silver linings.
