As a dancer, there are few things worse than being photographed by someone who is unfamiliar with the art form. You pour literal blood, sweat and tears into perfecting your craft and your skill should be reflected in images of you. Before ultimately choosing to pursue a BFA in photography, Ally trained pre-professionally through the Royal Academy of Dance, at the School of American Ballet, the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Boston Ballet School.
I photograph dancers across all ages and abilities, from student performances to professionals in companies such as ABT Studio Company, Paul Taylor Dance, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, English National Ballet, Pascal Rioult Dance Theatre.
